One coat is sufficient
This is a highly concentrated formula with an impressive application wand. I was surprised to learn that it isn't waterproof, unless I overlooked something. It does not come of with soap and water, it requires eye makeup remover.
It's a great product. Period.

This is honestly, next to Marc Jacobs velvet noir, the best mascara i’ve ever used. Keeps the curl, is super dramatic, and doesn’t smudge at all even though my eyes are super watery

I am a first time buyer of NARS makeup and I would highly recommend this mascara. Gives you amazing lashes. Can use it for a light day version or add another layer for a bolder lash
